Kenwood 690 vs 450 :

The TS-690S is similar to the TS-450S model, but adds coverage of the 6 meter amateur band with 50 Watts output power and a separate SO-239 antenna jack. Equal specifications and output power on 1.8~29.7 MHz amateur band for the two transceivers.
