2 meters / 70 cm dual-band all-mode transceiver with optional 23 cm capability. Up to 45 Watts of RF output power, dual-channel VHF/UHF watch function, full-duplex cross-band operation, Satellite communications with Doppler effect frequency correction, Repeater reverse switch, built-in Speech Processor with audio compression amplifier, RIT and IF-shift, 500Hz CW narrow filter, GaAs FET preamplifier. 59 multi-function memory channels with lithium battery back-up, memory scroll feature, convenient scan functions. Separate main/sub frequency displays, S-meters, SQL and AF controls. Ideated in Japan, year of introduction 1988.
