The Kenwood R-600 is a easy-to-use receiver, it covers the 150 kHz through 30 MHz in thirty 1 MHz bands for reception of CW, SSB and AM. The circuits include a PLL synthesizer, band-pass RF filters interlocked with the band selector switch, ceramic IF filters interlocked with the mode switch, noise blanker, 20 dB RF attenuator, wide-narrow selectivity, tone control, record Jack. The speaker unit is placed behind the front panel for better tone quality. The frequency display uses easy-to-read LED, which indicate true operating frequency accurate to the 1 kHz order. The antenna terminals can be selected according to the signal frequency or the antenna system employed. A fuse is installed in the antenna circuit to prevent damage from lightning. Ideated in Japan, year of introduction 1982.
