The IC-R100 is a compact size desktop / mobile receiver with wideband frequency coverage 0.1-1856 MHz and AM, FM, wide FM modes. Features: Multiple scan functions including auto memory write scan. 24-hour clock system with multiple timer functions. A variaty of tuning steps. 100 memory channels. RF preamplifier, attenuator, ANL (Automatic Noise Limiter) and AFC (Automatic Frequency Control) function. Three antenna connectors. Ideated in Japan, year of introduction 1990.

France version frequency coverage 0.1-87.5 and 108-1856 MHz.
Germany version frequency coverage 13.95-14.5, 28-29.7, 144-146, 430-440 and 1240-1300 MHz.
The RF preamplifier activates at 50-905 MHz only.
Outputs voltage corresponding to the selected band. An external antenna selector may be used with this output voltage.

Be careful. In vehicle, car or boat, set the [CLOCK] switch on the rear panel to OFF when directly connecting to a 12V battery. When [CLOCK] is set at LAMP or ON the receiver consumes some electricity even if the power is off.
