IC-7200 description :

The ICOM IC7200 is an HF/6 meter transceiver with rugged design. Combines some of the IC-7000's solutions with a compact case, ready for outdoor use thanks to a construction against water intrusion and a convenient front facing speaker. Features: RIT, noise blanker for pulse-type noise such as engine ignition and sparking, VOX, high frequency stability, LCD backlight high/low/off, CI-V interface, built-in preamplifier and attenuator, RF speech compressor, dial lock, auto TS function, 1Hz step tuning, band stacking register, built-in voice synthesizer, quick set mode, USB port for PC control.

IC-7200 digital IF filter with Twin PBT :

The DSP allows you to flexibly select the filter width and shape from Soft and Sharp (on CW/SSB) and provides cutting edge characteristics. You can also tailor your IF filter with the Twin PBT by shifting the upper and lower edges, depending on the use of the concentric knobs you can either narrow the IF passband or shift the entire passband to eliminate interfering signals. Construction against water intrusion, and more :

Waterproof protection technologies that are used in ICOM's marine radios are applied in the IC7200 to the buttons and knobs on the front panel to provide a measure of protection against water intrusion. The rear bumper protects various connectors on the panel and lets you stand the radio on its rear end when the antenna is disconnected, such as while moving or packing the radio. The optional handles are convenient when moving the transceiver and can protect the face and radio knobs during transport.
