- Commercial radio reception in Wide-FM mode.
The UV-82C is, in brief, a conventional UV-82 (now discontinued from Baofeng inventory) that has initial limitations applied in order to make it FCC approved for commercial use. The radio will have a Part 90 label manufacturer applied and requires programming via a PC for initial use. The UV-82C is able to transmit on narrowband (12.5kHz) and wideband (25kHz) channels. This Baofeng come with a dual push-to-talk button, the dual PTT is a huge leap forward in the technology, it allows you to transmit on one of two frequencies by the use of the rocker switch.

UV-82C features :
Shortcut menu operations. Field clonable, with K2 cloning cable. VFO and Menu lockout. VOX function, level adjustable. Dual watch, periodically the transceiver checks whether a signal is reiceved on another frequency that we have scheduled. Commercial FM receiver, any incoming call on working frequencies will be given priority. Programmable transmit/receive offset, for set up repeater in/out frequencies. Group tones supported. Includes V85 high gain antenna.
