UV-5X3 description :

The Baofeng BTECH UV-5X3 is an affordable tribander able to transmit on narrow and wide channels (12.5 and 25 kHz) in FM mode. It's ideal for use on 145 / 222 / 430 MHz amateur bands and on full VHF and UHF commercial, public safety, business PMR frequencies. Features: Dual watch to monitor channels (semi duplex mode) with different frequencies even on different bands, the radio scan between two channels at a fixed interval and look to the first incoming signal. FM broadcast band, while still monitoring your radio stations in the background any incoming call will be given priority switching on VHF/UHF channel. Squelch adjustable in 10 levels. CTCSS, DCS, tone-burst selective calling methods. Send / decoding ANI (DTMF) tone. Two RF power levels (High / low). VOX (Voice-activated transmission) function. Roger-beep. Range of 0~69.99 MHz in 10 KHz steps for frequency offset when communicating via a repeater, also input/output frequency reverse. Transmitter time-out timer (TOT), busy channel lock-out (BCLO) and channel receive only (TXoff) functions. Tri-color LCD display. The accessory jack on the UV-5X3 Baofeng / UV-5X3 BTECH is a Kenwood compatible "2-pin" standard for speaker/mic and PTT. Simultaneous display for those that want to have full information at their fingertips, you can configure the displays to allow both the channel name and frequency. Memory, tone and frequency scanning with channel skip. Easily add or remove a channel from the scanning list. On VFO mode you can easily enter in the range and frequency steps that you want to scan. DTMF commands, by remotely sending specific audio tones you can both disable TX, disables all functions, or turn on the microphone in other programmed UV-5X3.
