AOR AR-One-C is an evolution of the AR-One, a wideband compact desktop / mobile receiver. The specifications are in substance identical, with this "C" version AOR added the frequency & phase coherent mode. For multi-receiver configurations, such as for direction finding purposes, frequency matching as well as phase matching between receivers are critical. Whereas the AR-One already offers an very stable reference frequency oscillator of 0.1 ppm this new device provides local oscillator input/output for synchronization between receiving units with max 5% of phase matching shift. In addition of 10 MHz frequency standard connectors there are also 1st, 2nd and 3rd local oscillator ports. The daisy chained receivers become therefore perfect clones in frequency and phase. The number of receivers which can therefore be interconnected is only limited by the type of IF ampli/splitters used.
Below an example of typical configuration with one master and four slave receivers for direction finding setup.
AR-One-C other features: multiple IF filter bandwidths for FM/WFM, high frequency stability, IF output, adjustable BFO, squelch, S-meter on LCD display even directly in uV. Multiple search options, scan rate 25 steps per second, and 1000 general memories with 10 independent VFOs. RS-232C connections for remote control interface of more receiving units.
