VHF/UHF FM dual bander Transceiver with 50 Watts max on 144 MHz band and 35 Watts max on 430/440 MHz. Front panel detaches easily from the main unit via a single slide switch for simple remote mounting. Full transceiver capability on one frequency pair while simultaneously monitoring another receive frequency on the other band. Simultaneous receive configurations include VHF/UHF, VHF/VHF and UHF/UHF. Noise squelch, automatic squelch, S-meter squelch. Advanced intercept point (AIP) function for fighting intermodulation problems. 7 types of Scan. Dedicated front panel DATA connector for 1200 bps or 9600 bps Packet operation. Ideated in Japan, year of introduction 1994.
