Communication receiver covering 170-410 kHz and 0.525-30 MHz to provide reception of all broadcast and amateur radio stations in LW, MW and SW bands. The Trio Kenwood R-300 is provided with a main dial and a band spread dial, frequencies of 10 Short Wave broadcast bands or 5 Amateur bands are magnified for easy and accurate readouts. The receiver is also provided with its own built-in 500 kHz crystal oscillator marker for frequency calibration. Features: AM, SSB and CW reception. ANL (Automatic Noise Limiter). Double conversion circuit for F band (18-30 MHz) and single conversion for lower bands (0.17-18 MHz). Wide / Narrow IF filter switch. Normal / Soft audio tone switch. Dual-gate MOSFET in RF and Mixer circuits for high sensitivity and cross-modulation rejection. RF-gain and Antenna trimmer controls. Three-way power system, AC / DC source / internal batteries. Ideated in Japan, year of introduction 1976.
