The radio incorporates AM / FM mode using both wide and narrow filters and SSB mode. Noise Blanker. Tuning steps from 100 Hz to 25 kHz. 99-channel memory capacity. Six scanning functions as Priority, Programmed, Selected Memory, Selected Mode, Memory and Auto-write Memory scan. VSC (Voice Scan Control) function to skip all frequencies with inaudible voice signals. CI-V system for computer control. Optional RC-12 infrared remote control. Ideated in Japan, year of introduction 1986.
