The IC-707 portable size provides operating versatility in a variety of locations. Moreover, the front panel-mounted speaker of this HF all-band transceiver enables installation into a panel with no loss in audio quality. The large, easy-to-read LCD display shows all necessary information such as frequency, mode, memory channel, S/RF levels. Other features: 100 Watt of output power. 500 kHz to 30 MHz general coverage receiver. 10 dB preamplifier. RIT control. Noise blanker. 32 memory channels, including 5 split memories for repeater operation. Band stacking register, the last used frequency in each band is automatically momorized. Ideated in Japan, year of introduction 1993.

Picked one of these up. Same chassis as the IC-718 with different internal components. The receiver is nice and smooth sounding with an external speaker. Everything is well worked out for a basic operation, nothing fancy. It is a plug and play radio.
I had a good audio report with the HM-219 microphone.
