Compact 6-meter all-mode transceiver. Maximum 90 Watts RF output in SSB, CW and FM. 23 Watts in AM mode. Direct Digital Synthesizer with fuzzy logic control: the main encoder tunes smoothly from 5 Hz steps to fast forward 200 Hz step mode. Dynamic range to 105 dB, RF attenuator, IF shift, optional 500 Hz CW filter, full or semi break-in, CW reverse, RIT, dual VFO's, 100 memory channels, TF-SET function for split-frequency operations. The transceiver comes with the MC-47 remote-control microphone with 4 programmable function keys. Tuning knob torque can be adjusted to suit individual preference. Dimmer control. Ideated in Japan, year of introduction 1994.

TS-60S review
N2MDV | 10 December 2023 |
This rig does everything that its sister rig does, the TS-50S, except this rig is 6M only. Great sensitivity on RX and good TX compliments. And rediscover the pleasure of 50.400MHz AM again with this rig, as it does AM well. Has everything you need to work FM repeaters as well (Offsets, PL tones), but does fine with simplex QSO's on 52.525MHz as well. This, and its sister rig (The TS-50S), are certainly keepers with me.
