AT-778 UV review
Jim A. Crawford | 23 June 2023 |
I purchased the radio on June 20 2023. The radio is not the easiest to program, however I found it had excellent receive sensitivity. I got favorable audio reports, however when trying to contact repeaters on the outer ranges it fell short. Upon investigating I found the radio would only output 8 Watts in the Hi power setting. The radio will be returned for a refund. Not a recommended radio.

Nice radio, commendable and with excellent aesthetics. Noticed that the instruction manual is poorly translated. I had to buy his programming cable and prepare the transceiver with Chirp. I noticed that it has excellent sensitivity. Definitely recommended given the quality / price ratio.
